The LAPD is so completely overwhelmed with the recent reports of sexual misconduct by powerful players in Hollywood that it has established a task force solely devoted to investigating the open cases. Currently, the task force is processing 28 open cases involving allegations of sexual assault. An additional 37 cases have been assigned to other jurisdictions for investigation and possible prosecution. The most notorious of the accused is mega producer Harvey Weinstein, with over 60 women coming forward with allegations of sexual misconduct.
Harvey Weinstein. Rose McGowan was one of the first women to speak out against Harvey Weinstein, and implicate him by name. Since then, over 60 women have come forward with allegations against Weinstein. The allegations range from sexual harassment to penetrative rape. Weinstein is reportedly being investigated in both Los Angeles and New York. According to a statement from his attorney, Weinstein denies any non-consensual sexual activity.
Terry Richardson. Terry Richardson is an extremely well known, and by all accounts, successful photographer. Or at least he was. His work has been banned from all Conde Nast publications. Richardson has been accused of sexual misconduct and exploitation by several models who have worked with him. The allegations against Richardson have been circulating for years.
Brett Ratner. Six women have accused filmmaker Brett Ratner of either sexual harassment or misconduct. His attorney “categorically denies” each of the accusations against Ratner. Several Hollywood power players, including Gal Gadot, have refused to work on any future projects with Ratner.
James Toback. So far, 38 women have accused director James Toback of sexual misconduct. According to one source, Toback would routinely and regularly attempt to engage in inappropriate conversations with actresses. He would tell them how many times a day he masturbated, how many times he ejaculated, and he would ask them if they shaved their public hair.
Ed Westwick. Three women have come forward with allegations of rape against actor Ed Westwick. One accuser claims that the rape was facilitated by another man, who brought her, unwillingly, to the actor’s home. Westwick’s partner, Jessica Szohr has said that she cannot imagine Westwick raping a woman.
Tom Sizemore. Tom Sizemore has been accused of molesting an 11-year-old girl in Utah in 2003 while filming a movie. Sizemore denies the allegations, tweeting “it didn’t happen, bro.” Sizemore has been fired from the production company which employed him. His representatives declined to comment to media inquiries.
Andy Dick. Andy Dick has admitted to inappropriate sexual conduct with four fellow cast members while filing Raising Buchanan. He admits some of the allegations against him and denies others. He admits to licking his castmates. He denies groping them.
Jeffrey Tambor. Jeffrey Tambor is embroiled in a scandal involving allegations of sexual misconduct. As such, he will no longer be a part of the Amazon hit series Transparent. Tambor denies the allegations, stating that they are lies fabricated by a “disgruntled former assistant.”
George Takei. Star Trek actor George Takei has been accused of groping a male model at a party in 1981. Allegedly, the model was passed out, and Takei tried to remove his underwear and fondle him. Takei denies the allegations and believes he is the victim of a smear campaign.
Charlie Rose. 75-year-old broadcaster Charlie Rose has been fired by CBS after several women have come forward with allegations of unwelcome sexual advances by Rose. PBS followed suit, dropping Rose immediately. The Washington Post published an article describing Rose’s “extremely disturbing and intolerable behavior” in extensive detail.
Dustin Hoffman. Two women have come forward with allegations of unwelcome sexual advances by actor Dustin Hoffman. In one such case, the victim was only 17 years old. Hoffman has apologized for any inappropriate behavior.
Al Franken. Senator Al Franken is seen in a photo groping the chest of a passed-out journalist, obviously without her consent. He is also accused of kissing her. In addition, Franken has been accused of groping a woman while he posed for a photograph with her. Franken has issued an apology for his inappropriate behavior.
Steven Seagal. Seagal is also accused of sexual misconduct by several women. They include his former assistants, his former partners, and, in addition, reporters. Seagal allegedly has a history of demanding sexual favors in exchange for interviews, referring to female reports as “c*cksuckers.”
Louis C.K. Louis C.K. has been accused of masturbating in front of multiple female comics without their consent. In one such instance, he blocked the door with the body, preventing the victim from being able to escape until he finished. C.K. has finally admitted that the allegations are true.
Kevin Spacey. Kevin Spacey is accused of attempting to sexually assault a 14-year-old actor at his New York apartment after a party. Spacey, in a statement posted to social media, neither confirmed nor denied the allegations; rather, he stated that he did not remember, but apologized if they did indeed occur. He also acknowledged his homosexuality. Many have accused Spacey of attempting to bury the allegations against him by coming out, asking what exactly one has to do with the other.
