PUMPKIN PIE OATMEAL

This Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal is a fast and easy fall breakfast full of pumpkin spice. Top with pecans and a drizzle of maple syrup for a real treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oatspumpkin-pie-oatmeal-4
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3-4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Toppings: chopped pecans, maple syrup, butter, whipped cream
Instructions
  1. In a large saucepan, combine the oats, milk, water, pumpkin, and pumpkin pie spice. Whisk to combine. Bring to a boil and cook for 5-10 minutes.

  2. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and brown sugar to taste. Top with chopped pecans, maple syrup, butter, and whipped cream if you’re wild.
