Where is the OUTRAGE? Why does the government continue to let up be poisoned by products that they KNOW contain caustic ingredients all the while telling us we can’t have cannabis. They are causing us to NEED cannabis. They are responsible for the Opioid crisis. But NO! Big brother systematically poisons us then tells us what they think is good for us. I’m sick of it. They have their greedy hands out to the lobbyists for Bayer, Monsanto, Big Tobacco, Big Pharma, Big Business, Alcohol, just to name a few.

Here is a list of the special interest groups (that we know of) that donated to our elected officials during the period of 11/29/14 thru 11/28/16. This simply has to stop. The people we vote for are watching out for the special interest groups who contribute to their campaigns not for We The People! Does anyone else here see the madness of this? Our government is CORRUPT. This practice should be outlawed. Oh yes, the reason for this post was to share about the chemical found in Colgate that causes cancer. Guess I got a little excited. I will post the article in it’s entirety below this list.
Everyone knows Colgate toothpastes and they are probably the most popular product of this kind in the world. You must have used them sometimes, or probably you are still using them.
Anyway, a study found that this product includes harmful substance known as Triclosa, which could be carcinogenic and cause other illnesses as well.
The journal Chemical Research in Toxicology released a study which discovered that this chemical stimulates cancer-cell growth. Other studies conducted during the past several have also proved that this substance has negative effects for our health and linked it with other ailments as well.
Triclosan is also able to penetrate the skin and disturb the function of the hormones (endocrine disruption). But this is not all. A study released in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives from 2008 proves that triclosan can be found in the urine of incredible 75% of the 2.517 people that were tested.
Triclosan is also found in most of the laundry detergents, hand sanitizers, deodorants and antiseptics.
A study was released in the journal Chemical Research in Toxicology which showed that this substance can lead to cancer development if used in high quantity.
We already mentioned that it is capable of penetrating the skin and entering in the bloodstream, impacting the hormonal system and causing hormonal disturbances.
Anyway, despite all of these facts and studies, Colgate claims that their products are completely safe. Canada already disallowed the usage of Triclosan in their products and they are the only country in the world to do that, for now.
The government still doesn’t talk about the negative side effects caused by this dangerous substance. They will wait some serious health problems to happen before banning it, which happened with asbestos, PCB and DT.
It is up to you to decide if you will use this product or not.
