When I signed up as a distributor for Young Living, I looked at Essential Rewards and all the awesome kits that come with it, but I thought, “Nah, that’s not for me.”
I changed my mind a month later.
By that time I was using my essential oils daily and I was loving them. For someone like me, Essential Rewards makes all the sense in the world.
What is Essential Rewards?
Essential Rewards is a monthly subscription plan with Young Living essential oils. You’re committing to spending 50 PV (or Personal Volume) each month.
You don’t need to buy the suggested bundles.
Although those bundles are usually great deals, you can buy whatever Young Living products you want, so long as your total equates to at least 50 PV. I think of it as my monthly oily shopping list. Right now we’re heading into summer, so I’m ordering some ingredients for bug spray, sunscreen, etc. Next month I’ll change it up again.
Why would you sign up?
Well, there are a bunch of reasons.

Isn’t 50 PV a lot?
50 PV does sound like a lot. But it’s really the equivalent of ordering a bottle of Thieves and Peppermint each month. When you’re hooked on the power and joy of EOs like I am, that’s not a big deal at all. I find that most people place a large order a few times per year… around Christmas or other special times. Doing this is great, but you don’t earn any points and you pay more for shipping. Essential Rewards is all about spreading out your spend throughout the year, earning points and getting discounted shipping. I often try to shoot for 190 PV, as this makes me eligible for free monthly products. For example, last month I got free bottles of Oregano and Aroma Siez oils, which was pretty sweet. I often tack on friend and family orders to get me to that level. I have received free diffusers and at least 15 bottles of free oil in the last few months or so. More to share I always say!
